Do I get future updates?
Yes. Core includes lifetime updates to the private repo. Hyperdrive improvements ship through the MCP layer as the guided setup and review workflows evolve.
What is Hyperdrive?
Hyperdrive is the optional operator layer your agent connects to through MCP config or the Claude Code plugin. It scopes the product into a PRD, plans launch-quality landing pages, orchestrates parallel agent workstreams, sequences provider setup, and runs domain, browser automation, and validation workflows across Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, and capable coding agents. Access starts through a standalone Polar checkout with a 7-day trial that converts to $29/mo unless canceled.
Do I need to be good with AI coding tools?
No. Varel works as a normal Next.js codebase. But if you use Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot, the bundled AGENTS.md, repo skill, and rules make them dramatically more effective - that's where the 10x really kicks in.
Is this only for non-technical founders?
No. Beginners get a safer path because the agent has guardrails. Experienced engineers get leverage because the repo handles the repeatable SaaS plumbing and reminds agents to check SEO, billing, data boundaries, docs, accessibility, and deployability before handoff.
Can I use it for client work?
Core is the only current repo license. If you want agency or high-volume client usage terms, book a call so we can handle that explicitly instead of hiding a second public tier.
